Dr. Iz Jakubowski
Veterinarian Royal York Animal Hospital

A graduate of the Atlantic Veterinary College in Charlottetown, PEI, Dr. Iz practiced in the Blue Mountains north of Toronto before joining Royal York. She’ll be the first to tell you that the journey to get here was a challenge – and that it was well worth the effort. She loves what she does. Ever-evolving medical science (it’ll never be boring), a collegial working environment (both at Royal York and in the veterinary community at large), an opportunity to help clients and critters in her care (preventive care and quality-of-life issues are top of mind) all make for a rewarding day in the trenches. Currently “between pets,” Iz gets her fix of furry friends at work.
